Always Start With The Sentimental
These amazing women know how to make a girl not feel like she is 50! I can’t tell you how emotional I was after being with them to celebrate mine and Mitzie’s Birthdays. Hence, it is almost two weeks later, and I am just now sitting down to write these memories down.
I have always had a hard time maintaining friendships-not sure if awkwardness, season of life issues or just overall weirdo that I am….But it has been an honor to be these ladies’ friends for over the last decade. Boy do they know what makes my heart full. We spent the night strolling and laughing. Then there were presents!! Can I just say how lucky I am to have the most amazing gift givers as friends?!?!?! Holy cow! I felt like royalty! The gifts they showered upon me weren’t just objects; they were tokens of love that made me feel seen and celebrated in a way that only true friends can.

Tomball Never Disappoints With Cool Places & Experiences
We started the night at Social Haus! It was my first time checking out the new bar in Tomball, and it was such a fun atmosphere. We arrived during happy hour, which offered many reasonable choices. There is a front patio and a back patio to enjoy on beautiful days. The inside was quaint and full when we arrived. We chose the back patio on a gorgeous night. My friend and I had the Ranch Water, and for a happy hour drink, it was evident that it was the same as full price! The cocktails were delish, and the bartender was a sweet girl who was easy to talk to and seemed to care about the customers by going over and beyond! In fact, all the staff were attentive and kind! We did order a charcuterie from the food truck on site, and I am still having dreams about the candied bacon and cheeses! Hee Haws Tacos & Tequila Once everyone arrived, we hit up Hee Haws for some great tacos, fun times outside and a great margarita. If you do not know Nicole, the owner, you should as she is an amazing woman. She also owns Everbellies next door and just opened a new location in Magnolia. Hee Haws has amazing food and atmosphere along with a great staff! Definitely the place to eat in Tomball and provides great community.
Next stop-shops in town. We ran to Holland House because we didn’t want to miss out on getting to see what was left since closing down. Also, we are huge fans of Murchison Spice Company and eagerly waiting for it to be back open. We knew they had a table for the night within Holland House. Murchison is awesome and if you are like us and can not wait for them to open back up, be sure to order online.
The rest of the night was spent in and out of shops with a stop by the famous pickle. If you do not know the history of the pickle-be sure to look up as it is a long time resident of Tomball and has had many forms over the years. Also known as the town doobie 🙂 Here are a few articles:

We did visit the Thirsty Bee Meadery and did a flight to try. The place was packed with tables of people playing mahjong and live music. Afterwards, we made sure to hit Cloud Chief, a favorite store of mine. We couldn’t leave without doing a shot with Michael, the owner. As I type this, it does sound like a night of drinking and debauchery, but it really was not like what is in your head. Cloud Chief has the best items and unusual finds in Tomball. From the paintings in the back to the jewelry and merch in front, it is sure to be the best experience! And hey, you can get a pickle statue or sticker on the way out as your little Tomball souvenir.
Next door to Cloud Chief is the TERRARIUM PLANT HOUSE-their link isn’t working today so I can’t stress enough for you to just drive over to main street and go in and check it out. It is peace in a store!
After that, it was closing time so we had to leave the great city and return to our lives of being a mom and worker, but it was definitely a 50th adventure for the books!
