Introduction

It is important to pause in our journey, so to speak, and just breathe in for a second the person we are able to walk alongside every day. The living God has appointed this divine moment each day to reveal a little bit more about who he truly is to us through the scriptures and Holy Spirit. This marvelous, magnificent being that is beyond what our imagination can even fathom is willing to reach down to us at any given moment and speak into our hearts. How awesome is that?

O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory above the heavens.
Out of the mouth of babies and infants, you have established strength because of your foes, to still the enemy and the avenger.
When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place,  what is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him?
Yet you have made him a little lower than the heavenly beings and crowned him with glory and honor.
You have given him dominion over the works of your hands; you have put all things under his feet,  all sheep and oxen, and also the beasts of the field,  the birds of the heavens, and the fish of the sea, whatever passes along the paths of the seas.
O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! – Psalm 8

Adoration

O Lord, How Majestic is your name in all the earth! May we honor it here in your creation! You hold every second in your hands and every glorious moment is part of your plan. Oh how we adore you God! You are wonderfully marvelous!

Confession

O Father, we are gathered before you, the Maker of Heaven and Earth, whose chosen dwelling place is with the broken and contrite, to confess that we have sinned in thought and word and deed; we have not loved you with all our heart and soul,we have not loved you with all our mind and strength; we have not even loved our neighbor as ourselves. In your mercy, deepen our sorrow for the wrong we have done and for the good we have left undone, so that we may hate our sin with a holy hatred. But, please Father, do not leave us in sorrow.

With you, O Lord, there is forgiveness. In your mercy, restore the joy of our salvation; so that we may love you with a holy love.-Missio Dei Confession

Thanksgiving

One generation shall commend your works to another, and shall declare your mighty acts. On the glorious splendor of your majesty, and on your wondrous works, I will meditate. They shall speak of the might of your awesome deeds, and I will declare your greatness. – Psalm 145:1-6

Oh Majestic Lord, we thank you for loving us! Thank you for your glorious grace! Thank you for your mighty act of the cross.
It is unfathomable that you would take our sin upon you and die as a sacrifice for us. Thank you for giving us a pathway to you. Thank you for allowing us to be in the same throne room of such majesty, to walk alongside you on this journey each day. Thank you for the scriptures to know you.
